Bacchettas are the sporting thoroughbreds of the recumbent world. They have gone back to the traditional design credo of the bicycle - simple, lightweight and efficient - and founded their reputation with the original high wheel sports/racing machines. Over the years they have developed that format with increasingly high performance models, while, at the same time, developing a range of bikes with smaller front wheels and a less aggressive and consequently more manageable riding position. Bacchettas are great bikes for racing, for audax and sportifs, or just fun days out. They also make fast, comfortable and reliable long distance laden touring bikes.
